FLOWER CARE

Congratulations on receiving your bouquet! To ensure you enjoy its beauty to the fullest, whether you opt to keep it in the presentation box or transfer it to a vase, please follow these care instructions.

Option 1: Keeping Your Bouquet in the Presentation Box

1. Display with Elegance:Should you choose to retain your bouquet within the presentation box, it serves as a display piece. Position the box in a cool, shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to maintain the freshness of the flowers.

2. Hydration:Freshly cut flowers tend to drink a lot in the first couple of days. It is essential that they remain hydrated to sustain their vibrancy. To assess the water levels, gently insert your finger into the box. If you find no moisture at your fingertips, kindly replenish the water. The box is equipped with a liner that holds the water. Using a jug, pour the water slowly until it reaches the neck of the box. Please check this every two days to ensure optimal hydration.

3. Transition to a Vase: After approximately seven days, you may notice some flowers beginning to wilt. These can be delicately removed from the bouquet by gently pulling them out. At this juncture, you may follow the steps outlined below.

Option 2: Transferring to a Vase

1. Prepare the Vase: Select a clean vase that is suitably sized for your bouquet. Fill it with fresh, clean water.

2. Trim the Stems: Carefully remove the flowers from the presentation box. Before placing the bouquet in the vase, trim approximately an inch off the stems at a diagonal angle using secateurs or florist scissors. Please be aware that household scissors may lack the strength necessary for cutting the stems. This diagonal cut facilitates improved water absorption. Remove any leaves that will be submerged in the water to prevent rot.

3. Arrange Your Flowers: If you are content with the existing arrangement, feel free to leave the string tie attached. Should you wish to create your own arrangement, untie the string and arrange the flowers as you desire. Take a moment to consider the height and positioning of the bouquet within the vase, ensuring a balanced aesthetic. The bouquet should nestle comfortably into the vase rather than stand awkwardly. If necessary, trim the stems to achieve the desired height.

4. Place Wisely: Position the vase in a cool location, away from direct sunlight, drafts, and ripening fruit, which emits ethylene gas and may shorten the lifespan of your flowers.

5. Regular Maintenance: Remember to change the water every few days and re-trim the stems to keep your bouquet looking fresh and resplendent.

By following these guidelines, you shall be able to relish the beauty and elegance of your bouquet for an extended period. Enjoy!
